Art Galleries

The Rosemary Duffy Larson Gallery

Since 1965, Broward College Central Campus's Fine Arts Gallery exhibited art works from over 150 regional, national and international artists such as Carl Andre, Judy Chicago, Yuri Dojc, Duane Hanson, Kenneth Huff, Nam June Paik and Pablo Picasso.

Replacing the Fine Arts Gallery is the Rosemary Duffy Larson Gallery, which is 1,583 square feet in area, is a non-profit space serving BC students, faculty and the South Florida arts community. We generally have around 7-8 exhibitions per year which include two faculty shows and two students shows. Solo and group exhibitions from national and international artists are curated by our Gallery Director. Artists' works are chosen whose themes engage students and local residents in the learning experience.

The Fine Arts Exhibition Space

A full spectrum of work can be seen in the exhibition space within North Campus' Fine Arts Department. Our hallways are a unique venue in which contemporary and traditional approaches to sculpture, painting, drawing and photography by students and acclaimed faculty and staff can be viewed.

Both floors offer rotating exhibition cases containing a selection of the most innovative ceramics and sculpture being produced in the department and gallery walls representing two-dimensional work of all artistic disciplines. Visitors can expect a year round cross-section of the talent fostered in our multidisciplinary department's studios.

The South Gallery

The South Gallery features artistic works by national and local artists. In addition to serving as an incubator for emerging talent, it also offers a forum for exhibiting Broward College's art students and faculty on annual benefit auctions.
