2+2 Articulation Agreement
Associate of Arts (AA) Degree to State colleges offering bachelor degrees or a state university.
Students who have received an AA degree from an institution within the Florida College System are guaranteed admission with 60 semester hours into the State University System. Depending upon a student's course selection, the 60 hours earned in the AA will be accepted, but not all of the credit may apply towards the desired degree program. **NOTE: Some exceptions apply such as limited access programs, teacher certification programs, and programs requiring an audition for acceptance. Admission into a specific program at a given university is not assured and some degree programs require specific lower-division coursework outside of common prerequisites. You are strongly encouraged to meet with a BC Academic Advisor to create an education plan for transfer into the upper division.

This program is designed for the Registered Nurse (RN) who wants to obtain a bachelor's degree. You must have a license to practice nursing in the state of Florida, and have a minimum of 2.5 cumulative GPA and 2.5 Nursing GPA in order to apply to the RN-BSN program. |

Applicants to the Teacher Education Program (TEP) must have 60 credits of upper-division coursework to include 36 credits of general education coursework. Students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA on all general education coursework, and a letter of recommendation to be considered. Applicants must have passed at least one section of the General Knowledge Exam (GKE) with score results submitted to the TEP Advisor to finalize admission into the program. Please note that students can be provisionally admitted into any of the BS in Education Programs while they work to complete the required prerequisite courses as listed below by program. This articulation agreement (PDF) between Alliant International University and BC affords students who complete the equivalent of between 0 - 90 US units in an appropriate bachelor's degree program, as determined by Alliant, including Business, Hospitality Management, or related fields, at BC with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 may transfer those credits and will be eligible to complete their undergraduate degree at Alliant. Students must complete a total of 120 U.S. credit units to receive a bachelor's degree from Alliant. Students transferring into Alliant by means of this agreement must complete the appropriate number of units remaining after the transfer of units from BC and earn the cumulative GPA as required in the Alliant Catalog in order to be eligible to receive a bachelor's degree from Alliant. |
